Asthma Triggers & Symptoms

Apr 03, 2023

Asthma attacks generally happen when there are asthma triggers. Most common triggers are tobacco smoke, dust mites, outdoor air pollution, animal furs, pests, mold, disinfectants, cold, pollen, flu, acid reflux, fragrances, strong emotions, stress, etc.

There can be other factors that might be specific only to you but not to other asthmatics, such as some specific medicines, food items, exercises, fragrances, etc. Finding your triggers and avoiding them is the most effective preventive method to avoid or reduce the frequency of asthma attacks.
