MYTH : In the gym, people only build strength by lifting heavy weights, but they lack stamina.
FACT : There are different combinations and exercise regimens that can help you specifically build stamina. Some of the most popular stamina building regimens under weight training are called Functional Training, Circuit Training, High-Intensity Interval Training, etc. We will discuss some of these in detail later in the book. In short, one can tweak their training, depending upon what one wants to gain from it. Moreover, even the gym has a cardio section where one can do those traditional stamina building exercises such as jogging, running, cycling, spinning, etc. which are also very effective.
