What are the common mistakes people make when starting a new workout routine? Q/A by Ashish Lal

Individuals tend to commit a pair of frequent errors.

First, they often don't take enough time to understand how a workout is supposed to be done correctly. This means learning the right way to position their body, do the exercises precisely, and follow safety rules to avoid getting hurt.

The second mistake is getting too excited. Some folks either do workouts for too long or use really heavy weights right away, and that's not a good idea. It's important to start slowly when you begin a new workout routine. Get the hang of the proper posture and safety tips first. After your body gets used to the new routine, which might take a couple of weeks to a couple of months, then you can gradually make things more intense. You can make the workouts longer, do more reps, and use heavier weights.
