Question by Sam: Which diet do you recommend - non-vegetarian, vegetarian or vegan?

Answer by Ashish Lal: Most of the people have vegetarian or non-vegetarian food based on their religious beliefs, which is weird. But they are eating based on their religious beliefs, not based on the health or scientific aspects. And everybody's point of view is correct. What vegetarians think, what non-vegetarians think, what vegans think. There is a logic why somebody is having a vegetarian diet. There is a logic why somebody is having a non-vegetarian diet. And there is a logic why somebody is having a vegan diet. From the fitness point of view, one should just take care that you get all your macronutrients, protein, carbohydrates, fats and all the micronutrients, all the vitamins and minerals. Through your diet, whichever diet you are having, it's very difficult to go into detail and explain what is good, what is bad in it. But whatever you choose, choose all the macronutrients and micronutrients.
