Answer by Ashish Lal: How much I can't say because it depends upon what you are cooking. But visually you can understand as less oil you use, it's better for cooking. Oils that are rich in omega -3 fatty acids are good and because they are good for health. Mustard oil, cow's ghee, olive oil, there are many kinds of oils that have omega -3 fatty acids. They should be used. There are local options available that have been consumed for ages and it has been seen that they are healthy. They should be consumed. Try to avoid refined oil because again refined sugar, refined flour, refined oil, all these are bad for health.
